Dungeons & Dragons EXPERT Set, the original!

Get the game that started Role Playing!
TSR came out with Dungeons & Dragons when I was about 10.  I had no idea what it even was when I bought it, but after a few games with my friends, we were hooked and ended up playing it weekly at each other’s houses.  Since the adventures are all made up, it was never the same game twice (I was often the Dungeon Master).  While my original set is not in sellable shape, this one is, and is perfect for new players or collectors!
My grandmother used to have her own doll shop, and when this game “took off” she bought a bunch of them to sell in her shop.  When she retired, she gave me the unsold boxes.  I have both an unopened EXPERT set (this one) and an BASIC set (see my other concurrent Ebay listing for it).
For the collectors out there, I have tried to capture the box’s condition on every side and show that it is, truly, unopened (it’s been in my basement in a box for I won’t admit how many years…) and is in good shape, albeit with a few dings.  If there’s a “special” photo you may want or some questions I’m glad to take them or to answer them.
I almost hate to let this go, but I’d rather someone who wanted it have it, or a young girl or boy learn to enjoy the game as much as I did, than have it sit in my basement any longer.
