- Condition: There are some "mostly" light scratches especially in one spot on the face near the rim. SEE PHOTOS CLOSE UP. Though this was polished, some tarnish or patina will be present. This was engraved with what looks like Greek lettering.
Description
This plate has an unusual embossed figure of a ram in the center. It is marked 830 which we believe signifies continental silver and places it in Europe. There is some engraved personalized lettering which may include Greek characters. It “may” be possible to have the lettering polished out but we are not experts. The plate measures approximately 5 1/2″ in diameter x 3/4″ deep. The weight on our scale is slightly over 3.1 ounces. The foot rim bears the 830 mark and appears to be soldered.
